This Modified Yamaha RX100 Rocks A 200cc Twin Cylinder Engine

Since its inception in 1985, the Yamaha RX100 has been a favourite among riders in the 100cc two-stroke category.

It has been extensively modified by its owners over the years and is still seen on Indian roads today.

This particular one though rocks a more powerful and a rather unique engine.

This RX100, owned and engineered by Mr. Yusuf from Mumbai, has a 200cc parallel twin heart.

While Yusuf didn’t mention the exact process of how this engine came together

it certainly looks, to us at least, that he took two 100cc RX100 engines and Frankensteined them together.

The tank has been widened from below in accordance with the size of the twin engine to keep the original retro styling of the bike.

Complementing this upgraded engine is a functional twin disc brake setup at the front.
